We would like you to invite you to join the new Greater Chappaqua Chamber of Commerce. As a Charter Member of our Association, you will have the opportunity to attend any of the exciting events we have planned for this year and you will have the opportunity to promote and market your business on a regular basis to other members of our community. Our Mission is:
To foster long-term business relationships among our Retail, Professional, Civil, and Charitable organization members through regularly scheduled networking meetings and word-of-mouth marketing. By helping each other grow our respective businesses, we can assist in the revitalization of the Greater Chappaqua Business District to maintain a strong and healthy local economy.
Our Monthly Events We hold monthly networking/dinner meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month. We are fortunate that our Town is home to the premier restaurant in Westchester County and, John Crabtree, the proprietor of Crabtree’s Kittle House (kittlehouse.com), has agreed to host our monthly dinner meetings. The format of our monthly meetings is as follows: 5:30 p.m. cash bar cocktail hour followed by dinner and dessert. During dinner each member will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and let us know more about their business. A guest speaker will then give a short presentation. We will end our meeting with a 50/50 drawing and a raffle of prizes supplied by any members who want to promote their business. The raffle is optional and raffle items typically include bottles of wine, gift certificates, sports tickets, promotional materials, etc. This raffle is a good way to give your business a little extra publicity. The cost to attend our monthly meetings is $30.00 for members and $40.00 for non-members. Your Participation Joining our local Chamber will allow you to help yourself by helping others in the community. We would like to hear from you about any ideas that you may have to make our Chamber better. If you know of any exciting speakers who would consider doing a presentation for us, please let us know. As our Chamber grows, we plan to use the influence of the business community to support worthwhile causes and local charitable organizations. The cost to participate will be a nominal $75.00 per business. The Chamber will waive its dues for not-for-profit organizations and individuals working for local governmental agencies. Please join us by submitting the annexed Chamber application form. |
